About the Club
What is the Winn Family T-20 League?
The Winn Family T-20 League is a family-driven cricket community built on teamwork, respect, inclusion and a love of the game. It is proudly operated and managed by the Winn Family Association (WFA).
What is the Winn Family Association (WFA)?
The WFA is the governing body of the league. It keeps the rules, the code of conduct and the safeguarding standards, and runs the wider programmes such as the Academy, coaching and community work.
When was the league founded?
The league officially began in 2024 with the creation of our very first team, and has continued to grow every season since.
Who can join or take part?
The league welcomes members from different backgrounds and levels of experience. Diversity and inclusion are important to us — no matter who you are or where you come from, there should be a way to get involved as a player, official, volunteer or supporter.
What format is the cricket?
Matches are played in a T-20 (twenty-over) format. You can read the full playing conditions on the Rules & Regulations page and the New Cricket Format page.
What are the club’s values?
Respect, loyalty, honesty, encouragement and unity sit at the centre of who we are. We want everyone to enjoy the game in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Is the club only for one family?
The name reflects our family-driven spirit, but the community welcomes members from many different backgrounds. Everyone who shares our values is welcome.
Membership & Accounts
How do I log in to the members area?
Use the Login link and sign in with your email and password. Once signed in you can reach your personal area, your teams, bookings and other member features.
I have forgotten my password. What do I do?
On the login page select "Forgotten your password?" and follow the instructions. You will be sent a reset link so you can choose a new password.
How do I update my profile details?
Sign in and open your member area. You can edit your own profile details there. For your own security, some fields (such as your role or player link) can only be changed by an administrator.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. Personal and contact details are only visible to you and authorised administrators. We only ever publish information that is intended to be public, such as squad listings and match results.
How do I get a member account if I do not have one?
Member accounts are set up through the WFA. If you believe you should have access, please use the Contact page and an administrator will help you.
Teams & Players
How many teams are in the league?
The league is made up of several family teams. You can see the current teams, their squads and their badges on the Teams pages.
Where can I see a player’s statistics?
Each player has a profile with their details and statistics. You can reach player profiles from the Players and Teams pages.
How is my team information kept up to date?
Team pages are maintained by administrators. If something about your team or squad is out of date, let us know through the Contact page.
Can I represent more than one role in the club?
Yes. Many members are players as well as volunteers, officials or supporters. The Academy in particular offers pathways for leadership, officiating and other roles beyond playing.
Fixtures, Results & The Table
Where do I find upcoming fixtures?
Upcoming fixtures are listed on the Fixtures page. Each fixture shows the teams, date and, where available, the venue.
Where can I see match results and scorecards?
Completed matches and their scorecards are published on the Results and match pages. Match reports are also added where available.
How is the league table worked out?
The table is built from match results using the league’s points system, including net run rate as a tie-breaker. Full details are in the Rules & Regulations.
Why does the table sometimes differ from older records?
Historical seasons imported from our previous club site can differ slightly because of how certain games, abandoned matches and run-rate calculations were originally recorded. The current-season table is always calculated from live results.
Matches, Tickets & Events
How do I get tickets for a match?
Where tickets are available, you can reserve or buy them through the website. Ticket options and prices are shown on the relevant match or event page.
What are club events?
Alongside league matches the club runs events such as development days, family cricket days and special occasions. Many of these can be booked online and some allow you to RSVP.
Can I RSVP to an event?
Yes, where RSVP is enabled for an event you can confirm your attendance from the event page after signing in. Some events may run across multiple days.
Do some events have entry requirements?
Some events or activities may be limited to eligible members or require a particular qualification. Any requirements are shown on the event page before you book.
The WFA Academy
What is the WFA Academy?
The WFA Academy is the official learning, coaching and development centre of the Winn Family Association. It provides workshops, pathways, assessments, qualifications and other opportunities for members to develop.
Who can use the Academy?
Academy eligibility depends on the individual programme. Some workshops may be open to all eligible members, while others may require a particular Academy level, previous training or qualification. The requirements are always shown on the relevant workshop or pathway page.
Do I have to complete every pathway?
No. Members can choose the pathways that are most relevant to their interests and development goals.
What are the Academy levels?
The Academy uses a four-level structure: Foundation, Development, Advanced and Elite. This provides a consistent framework so members know where they are and what they can work towards next.
How do I book a workshop?
Browse the Workshops section, select a suitable session and follow the online booking process. The How Booking Works page explains every step.
What happens after I book?
Once your booking is confirmed, the workshop appears in your Academy account and a unique QR code is generated for your booking.
Where do I find my QR code?
Your QR code can be accessed through your My Academy account under your upcoming bookings. Where available, it may also be included in your confirmation email or the WFA app.
What happens when I arrive at a workshop?
Show your QR code to the Academy coach or authorised staff member. They will scan it to verify your booking and record your attendance.
What if my QR code does not work?
The coach can use your booking reference or member details to locate your booking manually, so a genuine booking can still be checked in.
Do all workshops provide certificates?
Not necessarily. Certificate availability depends on the workshop or qualification. The workshop information explains whether a certificate is awarded.
Can I progress to another level?
Yes, where a pathway provides progression. You may need to complete specific workshops, assessments or other requirements before progressing.
What happens if a workshop is full?
If a waiting list is available you may be able to join it. If a place becomes free, the Academy can notify eligible members.
Can I cancel a booking?
Cancellation arrangements depend on the individual workshop and its booking terms. The relevant cancellation information is provided before you book.
Where can I see my completed workshops and certificates?
Completed workshops, achievements and any certificates or qualifications are stored within your My Academy account.
Coaching
How is coaching different from Academy workshops?
Coaching sessions are bookable training with a coach, while Academy workshops are structured sessions tied to a pathway and level. Both can be booked through the website.
How do I book coaching?
Visit the Book Coaching page, choose a session and follow the booking steps. Availability and any price are shown before you confirm.
Do I have to pay for coaching or workshops?
For many sessions members take part free of charge, while non-members may pay in person. Any charge that applies is shown clearly on the session page before you book.
Live Scoring & Live Video
Can I follow a match live?
Yes. Where live scoring is running, you can follow the score as it updates on the match page without refreshing.
Is there live video of matches?
Selected matches may be streamed live. When a stream is available it appears on the relevant live page.
The live video is not connecting — what can I try?
First check your internet connection and refresh the page. Live streaming depends on the match actually being broadcast, so if no stream is running there will be nothing to show yet.
Notifications
Can I get notifications on my phone or desktop?
Yes. You can enable web push notifications so the club can send you updates on your phone or desktop. You will be asked to allow notifications in your browser.
How do I turn notifications off?
You can turn notifications off at any time from your browser or device settings, or from your notification preferences in the members area.
Shop & Payments
Does the club have a shop?
Yes. Club items are listed in the Shop. Availability can change through the season.
How are online payments handled?
Online payments are processed securely. Your card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by the club.
Safeguarding & Welfare
How does the club keep members safe?
The WFA is committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. Our safeguarding commitment and related policies are published on the website.
How do I report a concern?
Use the "Report a concern" form, which is available without needing to sign in. Concerns are handled through the appropriate WFA process.
What behaviour is expected of members?
All members are expected to treat others with respect and follow the Code of Conduct. Discrimination, bullying, harassment or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
Does the club have a position on betting and match-fixing?
Yes. The WFA has a clear policy on betting, match-fixing and inside information to protect the integrity of the game. It is published on the website.
Where can I read the club’s policies?
All of our rules and policies — including the Code of Conduct, inclusion policy, safeguarding commitment and your safety information — are grouped under Rules & Policies on the website.
New to the Club
I’m completely new — where do I start?
Welcome! Start by reading the Who We Are and About Academy pages to get a feel for the club, then use the Contact page to introduce yourself. If you’d like to train, the Book Coaching and Workshops pages are a good first step.
Do I need previous cricket experience to join?
No. The club and the Academy welcome complete beginners as well as experienced players. Foundation-level workshops are designed specifically for members who are new to a subject.
Can families and supporters get involved, not just players?
Absolutely. Families, supporters and volunteers are a huge part of the club. There are also family cricket days and community events to get involved with.
Is there a cost to be a member?
Any membership arrangements are handled through the WFA. Where a session, event or item has a cost, that price is always shown clearly before you commit.
Volunteering & Getting Involved
How can I volunteer with the club?
There are many ways to help — from match-day operations and scoring to coaching support, media and welfare. Get in touch through the Contact page and let us know what interests you.
Are there roles beyond playing?
Yes. The Academy has pathways for leadership, officiating, welfare, grounds, operations and technology, so there is a route for almost any interest.
Are there opportunities or careers with the WFA?
Opportunities to contribute are listed on the WFA Careers page. As the association grows, more roles and responsibilities become available.
Can I help run an event or match day?
Yes — match-day and event volunteers are always welcome. The Grounds, Operations and Technology pathway in the Academy also covers many of these responsibilities.
Officials & Umpiring
How do I become an umpire or scorer?
The Academy’s Officials Pathway provides development for umpiring, scoring and match officiating, and can connect with the WFA’s formal umpire qualification system over time.
Do I need a qualification to officiate?
Requirements depend on the role and level. The Officials Pathway explains what training and assessments are involved, and any requirements are shown on the relevant workshop.
Where can I learn the Laws of Cricket?
Officials workshops cover the Laws of Cricket, signals, decision-making and match management. You can also read the club’s Rules & Regulations for our specific playing conditions.
How are match officials protected from abuse?
The WFA has a specific policy on discrimination and abuse towards match officials. Any such behaviour is taken seriously and handled through the appropriate process.
Tournaments & Cups
Does the club run tournaments or cups?
Yes. Alongside the league season the club runs special competitions such as cup events. Details appear on the Tournaments and Fixtures pages when a competition is running.
Where do I find the rules for a specific cup?
Competition-specific rules are published on the website — for example the Winter Cup rules — in addition to the league’s general Rules & Regulations.
How do teams qualify for knockout stages?
Qualification is based on the competition’s own rules and the results recorded during the group stage. The relevant rules page explains how progression works.
Kit, Equipment & Ground
What equipment do I need for a workshop or match?
Each workshop or session page explains what to bring and what to wear. In general you should have appropriate clothing, footwear and any personal protective equipment for practical cricket.
Do I need my own bat and pads?
For some sessions equipment can be provided, while for others you should bring your own. The session information will tell you what is required.
Where are matches and sessions held?
The venue is shown on each fixture, workshop or event page. Please check the location and arrive with enough time to prepare.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If a session or match is affected by weather, the information can be updated and members who have booked an affected session should receive a notification.

Can I add the site to my phone like an app?
Yes. The site can be installed to your home screen from your mobile browser, giving you quick access like an app, and it works well on phones and desktops.
A page looks out of date — what should I do?

The site works with current versions of the major web browsers on both mobile and desktop. For the best experience keep your browser up to date.
