Qualifications

A formal record of completed Academy development.

Official Academy recognition

The WFA Academy can provide certificates and qualifications to recognise members who successfully complete appropriate training programmes and assessments.

Certificates provide members with a formal record of their completed Academy development.

01 — Workshops

Workshop certificates

Selected workshops may provide a certificate of completion.

The certificate can include:

  • Member's name
  • Workshop
  • Level
  • Completion date
  • Certificate reference
02 — Qualifications

Academy qualifications

More advanced programmes can lead to formal WFA qualifications.

These can include qualifications within the WFA training structure, such as welfare, mental health awareness, inclusion and equality or official development programmes.

03 — Library

Digital certificate library

Completed certificates should be stored within the member's Academy account.

Members can access their certificates whenever they need them rather than relying on a physical document.

04 — Accreditation

Accreditation

Where an Academy programme provides an accreditation, the member's account can show the accreditation status and completion date.

Where renewal is required, the system can also show the relevant renewal information.

05 — Verification

Future Academy certificates could include a unique certificate number or verification system so that authorised people can confirm that a qualification was genuinely issued by the WFA.
