Members who book a workshop are expected to attend the session unless they cancel in accordance with the relevant booking conditions.

Repeated failure to attend booked sessions without appropriate notice may affect future bookings where necessary.

Members should arrive with enough time to check in, prepare their equipment and be ready for the scheduled start time.

Late arrival may affect participation in some activities, particularly where safety briefings or assessments take place at the beginning of a session.

All Academy participants are expected to treat coaches, instructors, staff and other members with respect.

Discrimination, bullying, harassment, threatening behaviour or other unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated.

Members must follow reasonable instructions provided by Academy coaches and instructors.

Where a workshop involves practical cricket activity, members should use appropriate equipment and follow all relevant safety instructions.

Members should ensure that they meet the requirements of a workshop before booking.

A booking should only be made for the person who is actually attending the workshop unless the booking system specifically permits authorised bookings for another participant.

Members should use their own valid QR code when checking into a workshop. QR codes are linked to individual bookings and should not be shared or misused.

If there is a problem with a QR code, members should speak to the Academy coach or authorised staff member rather than attempting to bypass the check-in process.

Members should follow the cancellation requirements shown when booking.

Where a cancellation deadline applies, members should provide notice as early as possible if they are unable to attend.

Members completing assessments must follow the instructions provided by the relevant coach or instructor.

Any assessment requirements, pass marks or progression conditions will be explained as part of the relevant programme.

Certificates and qualifications are only awarded when the relevant requirements have been successfully completed.

The WFA may maintain records of qualifications and accreditation issued through its Academy programmes.

Academy coaches and instructors are expected to deliver sessions professionally, treat participants fairly, maintain appropriate standards and provide suitable guidance within their role.

The WFA Academy is committed to maintaining an environment where members feel safe, supported and respected.

Where safeguarding or welfare concerns arise, they should be reported through the appropriate WFA process.

The WFA may update Academy rules, booking procedures and policies as the Academy develops.

Where a change materially affects members, appropriate information should be provided through the website or relevant communication channels.
