01 — Camps Academy camps
Academy camps can provide a full day or multiple days of development. A camp could combine batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, tactics and match scenarios into one structured programme.
Camps can be organised during pre-season, the summer period, school holidays or the off-season.
02 — Masterclasses Masterclasses
Masterclasses are specialist Academy sessions designed to provide more focused training.
Examples could include T20 batting, power hitting, fast bowling, spin bowling, captaincy, elite umpiring or performance analysis.
Masterclasses can have specific entry requirements depending on the subject and level.
03 — Assessment Assessment days
Assessment Days can provide members with the opportunity to demonstrate skills and knowledge required for Academy progression or formal qualifications.
These events can include practical demonstrations, knowledge assessments, coach observations and other appropriate assessment activities.
04 — Special Special Academy events
The Academy can also host development days, officials days, captain's days, family cricket days, junior development days and other special events.
As the Academy develops, these events can become regular parts of the WFA calendar.
