    Update #18Latest3 changes

    Your Academy results & feedback

    • New “Training & Feedback” page in your members area: every Academy workshop and coaching session you’ve taken part in, all in one place.

    • See your WFA completion level for each one — Attended (you were there), Completed (you finished the learning activities) or Achieved (you passed the assessment) — with any note from your coach.

    • Tell us how it went: star-rate the session and your coach, and share what you enjoyed, what could be better and one thing you learned. You can edit it any time.

    Update #175 changes

The new Training Centre is open

    • Over 230 new Training Centre modules in 15 series: foundations, the Laws, batting, bowling, fielding, wicketkeeping, captaincy, fitness, umpiring, scoring, coaching, groundsmanship, safeguarding, league administration and performance analysis.

    • Press “Watch & listen” on any module and it’s presented slide by slide and read aloud to you, with captions and speed control.

    • Modules now build into pathways: pass the required module and the next one unlocks. Recommended modules are suggested, never forced.

    • Every module has official slides to download, reference videos, and a test with your certificate issued automatically on a pass.

    • More workshops and over 130 new coaching sessions to book in the Academy.

    Update #163 changes

    Introducing The Month in Review

    • On the 1st of every month you’ll get The Month in Review: every result, the Match of the Month, the month’s star players, the table with who moved up and down, club news and the fixtures coming next.

    • Ticket, shop and order emails now show clear CONFIRMED, DISPATCHED, REFUNDED and CANCELLED stamps, so you can see where things stand at a glance.

    • Don’t want the monthly recap? Switch “Monthly recap” off any time under Account → Email preferences.

  4. 15
    Update #159 changes

Team chat, season availability and your live stats

    • Team chat: switch the chat in My Area to “Team” to talk privately with your own team. Club chat is still there for everyone.

    • Season availability: see all your team’s fixtures in one grid. Tap “Available for all”, or mark holiday dates as unavailable in one go.

    • My Cricket now shows live stats: season-by-season numbers, your last five games and how close you are to your next milestone.

    • Your membership card now has a QR code that can be scanned at the gate.

    • Your matchday pass now opens even with no signal, so you can show it at the gate.

    • Add the site to your phone’s home screen to use it like an app.

    • New pages: all tournaments in one place, and a Roll of Honour with every season’s champions.

    • More reliable on patchy signal: you stay signed in through brief signal drops, and live scoring keeps every ball even when the connection goes.

    • Fresh new look for every League email: fixtures, tickets, orders and news are easier to read on your phone.

    Update #144 changes

My WFA Calendar: your training in your phone’s calendar

    • Subscribe once from My Profile and your training appears in your phone’s calendar (Apple, Google or Outlook). It stays up to date when a time changes or a session is cancelled.

    • Any session you RSVP “Going” to is added automatically. Tap 📅 then “Add to My WFA Calendar” on any other session to add it too.

    • Calendar apps check for changes every few hours. Need it in your calendar straight away? “Add once” (Google, Outlook or Apple) is still there.

    • The training section on What’s On is now a tidy, compact list with one-tap RSVP.

    Update #1313 changes

Meet Howzat, our new chat assistant, plus the new WinnTV logo

    • Meet Howzat! Tap the cricket ball in the bottom-right corner of any page, on the main site or the Visitor Portal. It has read the whole website, so it can answer questions about fixtures, tickets, parking, accessibility, the rules, WinnTV, the shop and more, straight away.

    • Every payment now stays on our website: tickets, the club shop, membership, workshops, coaching, dance shows and printed magazines are all paid by card with Stripe on our own checkout page.

    • New magazine issues appear on the Magazine page as soon as they are published, and printed copies can be bought right on the issue page.

    • Our emails now end with “Around the League”: the latest magazine, the next fixtures, the latest news and what’s on.

    • If Howzat isn’t sure, it says so and gives you our number (07423 706028). Tap “Talk to a person” and a member of the team will reply right there in the chat.

    • WinnTV has its official logo across the site: the WinnTV pages, the “Watch WinnTV” buttons, the live banner, the footer and the partner logos.

    • The site switcher at the top of the page now shows each site’s logo: the League crest, the Association crest and a new Visitor Portal compass.

    • News emails look like the website now: the article’s photo, category, headline, author and read time, the opening paragraphs, a big “Read the full story” button and the latest headlines.

    • Every news story has a new magazine-style design: the photo shown big and in full at the top, a bold headline, easy-to-read newspaper-style writing and a soft glow of the story’s photo behind it.

    • “Listen to this article” now works on iPhone and iPad as well as on computers.

    • The latest Winn Family Association news now appears on the League site too: on the home page and under the League news.

    • Photos in our emails now show properly, and every picture is checked before an email is sent.

    • Magazine covers and photos are shown in full (no more cropping), and the online reader fits each page to your screen.

    Update #1210 changes

Brand-new match tickets — print them, save them, put them in your wallet

    • Every Visitor Portal ticket has a fresh design with everything on it: teams, date, gates time, first ball, venue, ticket holder, ticket type, price and ticket number.

    • Championship 2027 tickets get a special navy-and-gold floodlit edition, and ❄ Winter Cup tickets an icy, snowy one.

    • New print page: one full A4 e-ticket per person with all the matchday info (parking, food, accessibility, emergency). Print it or save it as a PDF.

    • “Save image” downloads a phone-sized picture of your ticket, so it still works with no signal at the gate.

    • Add to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet buttons are on every ticket (they go live as soon as the wallets are switched on).

    • New “My e-tickets” button at the top of every Visitor Portal page: one tap to every ticket you have opened on your phone. No login needed.

    • My Tickets and My Bookings are simpler: one card per booking and one big button to show your e-tickets.

    • Every match ticket page is redesigned: a live countdown to first ball, a running order summary, directions and add-to-calendar, and the matchday info at a glance.

    • You can now change your password yourself: My Area → Settings → Change password.

    • Push notifications to your phone are more reliable. They are sent as high priority so a sleeping phone still shows them, and “Send a test notification” now tells you exactly what went wrong if one can’t be delivered.

    Update #113 changes

Pay without leaving the site, and buy the magazine in print

    • Card payments now happen right here on our own secure checkout page: the shop, match tickets, membership, ED Dance, workshops and coaching. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.

    • You can now buy a printed copy of the Winn Family League Magazine on its issue page: choose how many, then UK delivery (£5) or free collection on a match day.

    • Each magazine issue page has a new look, with a bigger cover, a clear “Buy the print edition” panel and a fuller contents section.

    Update #1010 changes

Grand opening: training, a new homepage, the shop & more

    • Club training is here: nets, fielding, fitness and more, all on What’s On and your members page. Tap Going, Maybe or Can’t make it, and see who else is coming.

    • You’ll get a notification when a new session is added, or if one you’re going to is cancelled or moved.

    • A brand-new homepage: a results & headlines ticker, upcoming training and events, the Winter Cup countdown and links to everything on the site.

    • What’s On has a new look: “This week at the club” at the top, a menu that follows you down the page, and a calendar you can tap day by day.

    • The Winter Cup 2026 page has been rebuilt: countdown to first ball, fixtures by day, the group table, the knockout bracket, teams, rules and prizes.

    • Our partners now have a bigger showcase on the homepage, and it updates as soon as a new sponsor joins.

    • The club shop is now WFL Merchandise: browse by department, pick your size and personalisation, and member and sale prices are applied for you.

    • Matchday check-in: a new kiosk at the Winnston Park entrance. Scan your ticket or matchday pass and you’re in.

    • New tournament pages for the Championship 2027, the Pat McDonald 2026 and the Winter Cup 2025, so you can follow every one from first ball to final.

    • The Winn Family League Magazine launches on Thursday 15 October at 9am. Read every issue online, page by page.

    Update #98 changes

    A brand-new WinnTV

    • WinnTV has a new black-and-gold look and its own logo. When nothing is on air it shows the next live broadcast with a countdown and that day’s running order.

    • A TV-style score overlay sits on the live video: score, overs, run rate, the batters and bowler, and every ball of the current over. Tap “Score” to hide it.

    • Every delivery now gets its own animation (FOUR, SIX, WICKET, wides, end of over), straight from the scorer. Turn them off with the “Animations” button.

    • Your Call: vote in live polls during the match and watch the results update.

    • Follow your favourite teams (WinnTV or Account → Notifications) and get an alert when they go live.

    • Win Predictor: during a live match WinnTV shows an estimated chance of each team winning, updated ball by ball and based on the runs needed, balls left and lives left. It’s an estimate from our own model, not odds, and the official result always takes over at the end.

    • New Player Data Cards on WinnTV: every player’s runs, strike rate, wickets, economy, catches and an innings-by-innings chart, by season or across their whole career — all worked out from the real scorecards.

    • Every finished match has its own replay & scorecard page, plus a Replays page you can filter by season, team, competition and week. Match Highlights now show cricket only.

    Update #86 changes

    A brand-new member log in

    • Logging in looks brand new: an official Winn Family League sign-in with our crest at the top, a gold “Sign in securely” button, and a “Show” button so you can check your password as you type.

    • Once you’re in, you get a welcome screen (“Member verified — Welcome back”) and the page opens up like a pair of doors. Tap the screen to skip it.

    • It’s the same new log in wherever you sign in: the members pages, the Association pages and the Members Area login page.

    • Setting your password from an invite email has the same new look and takes you straight into your members area.

    • The Visitor Portal sign-in and its access screen have the official look too, and the “My Account” pages now fit properly on phones.

    • Nothing changes about your account: use the same email and password as before. Forgotten it? Tap “Forgotten your password?” on the log in.

  12. 07
    Update #77 changes

Pay online by card — everywhere

    • One secure way to pay: the club shop, match & event tickets, the visitor shop, your membership fee, ED Dance tickets, workshops and coaching now all take card payments through Stripe’s secure checkout (Apple Pay and other wallets too). We never see or store your card details.

    • Your tickets and order confirmations arrive by email the moment your payment is confirmed — and a “Pay now” button is always waiting on your booking if you need to try again.

    • Club shop: pick your size and personalisation, choose UK delivery (£5) or free collection from Winnston Park, and member and sale prices are applied automatically at checkout.

    • Every league fixture now has its own ticket page on the Visitor Portal — club members free, adults £2, teens £1, under-5s free.

    • Members still get their free tickets, workshops and coaching exactly as before.

    • Listen to any article — news, match reports, magazine stories and Visitor Portal news now have a “Listen to this article” player. Pause, skip paragraphs, change the speed, and follow along as each paragraph lights up.

    • Pick your voice — tap “Voice” on the player to choose who reads to you (British voices first, with a recommended pick). Your choice is remembered on every article.

    Update #66 changes

The Magazine is coming — plus a stack of new stuff

    • The Winn Family League Magazine is on its way! Head to the new “Magazine” page for a first look at the launch cover and a live countdown to issue one, dropping 15 October 2026. Read it right in your browser when it lands.

    • The Visitor Portal has landed at /visit — a separate visitor website with What’s On, where to stay, getting here, a Winnston Park guide with an interactive map and a help centre. Book match tickets and pay online for a QR ticket you show at the gate, browse the visitor shop, and create a visitor account to keep your bookings and favourites in one place.

    • Match Centre, rebuilt — every fixture now has a redesigned match-centre page with the team news, ground status and a live “Your Call” poll where you get to make the call as the game unfolds.

    • The big screen has arrived — our new stadium display shows the live scoreboard and matchday info on the ground’s big screen, so the whole crowd stays in the game.

    • Player Matchday Passes — squad players now get their own scannable access pass for the gate, right alongside spectator tickets.

    • Plus the usual round of fixes and polish across the site.

    • Send us your matchday photos for the visitor gallery.

    Update #42 changes

    Never miss the latest news

    • News lands faster — new stories now appear on the News page the moment they’re published, without waiting for the site to refresh.

    • Straight to your inbox — when a new article goes live you’ll get a heads-up by notification and email, so you’re always the first to know. You can fine-tune or switch these off any time under Account → Notifications.

  16. 03
    Update #36 changes

Showtime! Dance tickets, live alerts & more

    • The Evelyn Dance Show has landed — a brand-new show page with the full line-up, a ticking countdown to curtain-up, and a video preview. Take a look under “ED Dance”.

    • Book your seats in seconds — members can grab tickets right on the site, and we’ll fire a scannable QR ticket straight to your inbox. No printing, no queueing — just flash your phone at the door.

    • Never miss a beat — brand-new announcements land the moment they matter: team news, league updates and emergency alerts as slick pop-ups and banners.

    • Everything in one place — the new What’s On hub pulls it all together: live matches, what’s coming up, the cricket, the Academy, news, events, the calendar and more. Find it under “What’s On”.

    • Your voice, heard — a new feedback form lets you tell us what’s brilliant and what we can make even better. It goes straight to the team.

    • Smoother on your phone — the Association menu is tidier and faster, with tap-to-open sections so you get where you’re going in a flash.
