Academy achievements
The WFA Academy recognises members for their development, participation and accomplishments.
Achievements provide members with a visible record of the progress they have made throughout their Academy journey.
Digital badges
Members can earn digital badges for completing selected workshops, levels, pathways and achievements.
Badges can be displayed within the member's Academy profile and can represent different areas of development.
Examples could include:
- Foundation Batting
- Development Fielding
- Academy Leadership
- WFA Official
Pathway achievements
Completing an entire pathway is a significant Academy achievement.
When a member completes all of the required training and assessments for a pathway, their Academy profile can record the completed pathway and recognise the achievement.
Academy awards
The WFA can also introduce annual Academy awards to recognise outstanding development, commitment and contribution. Awards could include:
- Most Improved Player
- Outstanding Academy Achievement
- Academy Coach of the Year
- Elite Academy Achievement
Achievements are designed to encourage members to continue developing without making the Academy solely about competition.
The most important achievement is the progress a member makes from where they started to where they eventually reach.
