Winter Cup – Group Stage (Group A), Day 2
Stump Breaker put together an impressive performance on Day 2 of the Winter Cup, comfortably defeating Boundary Queens in their Group A encounter. Batting first, Stump Breaker made excellent use of their overs, racing to 85 for 3 in 5.0 overs. A positive approach from the start kept the scoreboard ticking, with boundaries flowing despite Boundary Queens managing to pick up three wickets. In reply, Boundary Queens found the target out of reach as Stump Breaker’s bowlers maintained tight lines and consistent pressure. Boundary Queens finished on 38 for 2 in 3.3 overs, unable to build the momentum needed for a serious chase. The convincing win strengthens Stump Breaker’s position in Group A.
